Olives, Bougainvillea and lemons

This is my latest painting, Olives, Bougainvillea and lemons, painted in acrylic on canvas. As mentioned in a previous post, it is one of a series of paintings for my book on food from Cyprus and I may use it as the book cover.

I am preparing two more recipes and some drawings to post over the weekend.

Current and Future Projects

I am currently working on a book celebrating my Mother's cooking and our ancient family olive grove in Cyprus.

My book will include a great selection of recipes, and chapters on the history and folklore of the olive, it's many culinary uses and health benefits.

I will be using both paintings and photographs to illustrate my book.
